As I was meditating in my room an image came to my mind; a Christ with a crown of roses looking up with a tender expression. Classical chiaroscuro paintings inspired the style for this photograph. I was able to portray my vision in a modern yet classical manner where the emotions collide with dramatic contrasts giving life to this portrait. In the background a song was playing: "losing my religion"...
