White and black charcoal on black paper. Space is a common them in my pieces. I have always been fascinated by the unknown. Being interested in outer space while growing up in a mountainous state has resulted in ideas like this one.

Artist Statement
When I was a little kid I would look at a piece of art and think, wow I wish I could do that. I rediscovered my love of art in 2018 and have been practicing/exploring different mediums and styles ever since. I really like the mental challenge of figuring out how to compose a piece of artwork, and I look forward to pushing myself and improving. Currently my favorite mediums are white charcoal and black ink.
