This artwork was created for my Advanced Illustration class. I wanted to expand my range and try to create a piece with different textures and style. My goal was to create an illustration that looked like it was from a children's book.

Artist Statement
When I was a kid, I remember picking up a pencil, found the closest scrap of paper we had at home, and just doodled my little heart out. I grew up watching a lot of cartoons and movies and knew I wanted to be an artist when I got older. I absolutely love creating my own characters and drawing fan art of some of my favorite movies and tv shows. I hope to create my own cartoon show/animation one day. My favorite mediums to work with are watercolor, markers, and digital.
